Who doesn’t love a good alliteration, especially one that speaks such truth? For those in the Trade Show world, this phrase should be a daily mantra.
More than just a trade show tip; When ten’s of thousands of dollars are riding on a two day trade show where you get to meet with the fresh, new, before unseen faces of your industry, you hate for that impression to be spoiled by outdated graphics, a tattered and worn out table throw, or worst yet, a completely absent display because graphics weren’t submitted in time. Often, the last minute scramble to compile the necessary components for a booth results in hundreds of dollars of unexpected rush delivery fees, and can even amount to thousands of dollars in late delivery fees from the show organizer / unions.
The good news… This can all be avoided with a bit of early planning, and diligent follow-up through the trade show display purchasing process. Certain products can be produced in 48hrs, while others require weeks. If you have a primarily graphic display, begin the graphic design process months before your show, allowing time for revisions with the designer, revisions with e-proofs from the printer, and god forbid, time for a re-print in case you are unhappy with color matching, layout, or find a spelling error that snuck through the proofing process.
