DENVER, CO, July 30 — While most companies focus on the “almighty dollar,” a group of environmentally conscious businesses are coming together to make the world a greener place. The Green Merchant Alliance is composed of businesses, like Trade Show Emporium, who fund clean energy initiatives. Trade Show Emporium, an eco-friendly, Colorado-based company, is one of the alliance’s newest members.
By joining GMA, Trade Show Emporium unites with a consortium of businesses dedicated to reducing their environmental footprint by supporting renewable energy, public education, and environmental conservation. The Green Merchant Alliance donates a portion of the profits from Trade Show Emporium’s sales toward the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). The money from the RECs directly funds clean energy projects. Then the RECs are “retired” –meaning they can no longer be traded or sold.
“It is important to our company to support clean energy development,” says Trade Show Emporium President, Willis Wood, Jr. “Trade Show Emporium and its employees are extremely environmentally conscientious. We saw joining the Green Merchant Alliance as a way to strengthen our commitment to the Earth.”
The renewable energy generated by the Green Merchant Alliance displaces other conventional electricity generation, such as coal, oil, nuclear, or natural gas. For every kilowatt-hour of renewable electricity or renewable certificates bought by members of the Green Merchant Alliance, there is one less kilowatt-hour of conventional electricity generation.
Trade Show Emporium is based out of Denver, Colorado. Its mission is to provide honest, friendly consulting services to those in need of trade show exhibits, graphics, and accessories. Trade Show Emporium is one of the top vendors for displays produced from environmentally friendly, renewable materials.

DENVER, CO, July 21—Save the Earth and save some dough! Trade Show Emporium is announcing its new “EnviroRentals” program. Now companies can rent display hardware while simultaneously helping the environment.
Trade Show Emporium, a Denver-based exhibit and display company, developed the “EnviroRentals” program to provide a service to companies all over the United States who are uninterested in the long-term commitment of purchasing display hardware. By renting this hardware from Trade Show Emporium, companies will lessen the impact that their trade show displays have on the environment.
Trade Show Emporium President, Willis Wood, is eager to provide an eco-friendly alternative to purchasing display hardware. “The tradeshow and convention industry needs to think more about the long-term impact of the waste it produces. By reusing display hardware through rental programs such as “EnviroRentals,” the industry can take a positive step in helping the Earth and producing less waste,” Wood says.
The idea for a rental program was instigated by Wood’s disgust with a shocking statistic—the tradeshow and convention industry is the second most wasteful industry in the United States today, according to recent research. Wood hopes that the “EnviroRentals” program will help generate greater environmental awareness within the industry.
Literature racks, pop-ups, alumalite displays, counters, and other display hardware is available for rent. Trade Show Emporium will also work with companies to create the perfect graphics for any event.
Trade Show Emporium is conveniently located downtown just three minutes from the Denver Convention Center, and will deliver rental hardware anywhere in the Denver Metro area. The “EnviroRentals” program is ideal for companies visiting from out of town, or conferences and conventions, such as the rapidly approaching Democratic National Convention. Rental equipment reserves quickly, so call Trade Show Emporium today to reserve it for your next event. Simply call 866.764.2968, or visit our website.
