The types include inline, islands, corners, peninsula, and cross-isle. Generally you want to get as much aisle exposure as possible because this will provide the most visibility for the attendees at the show. When deciding on what type of hardware to buy remember that islands displays will get the most exposure but are also the most expensive. Make sure you weigh both how much exposure you want vs. what your budget will allow. Keep in mind not to get a space that is too big and not be able to fill it and make it look visually appealing. If you have a big booth with minimal displays and graphics it will baron and desolate and nobody is going to want to visit that booth. There is nothing worse than to spend time and resources to exhibit at a trade show and when you arrive to the show your neighbor’ exhibit is clearly more attractive and better looking than yours. This can be detrimental to getting the return on your investment when exhibiting at trade shows. I recommend getting in contact and finding out who they are and what they will be exhibiting. This will also give you an opportunity to share a promotional giveaways or prize keeping the cost down for both of you but will still attract people into both booths providing qualified leads. Show managers have the choice how to setup their exhibition floor. Some choose to departmentalize the show by putting similar industries together. This is perfect for the attendee because they can shop similar products in one location of the convention hall. If the show is not departmentalized then the attendees will stop at the booths that attract their attention or our easiest to locate and get to. If you are attending a small show, you can get away with having a smaller booth and people will find your table top display adequate in projecting your company image. I recommend using a table top that is innovative and different, like our Topper table top display. It will not only have your company graphics on it but the shape alone will grab people’s attention. If you are attending a larger show with more than 1500 attendees then getting a larger booth or stepping up to a modular floor display to make is more effective in making you stand out from your neighbor at the show. Trade Show Emporium just released the Alumalite display that is brand new for 2007. Make your company be the one with the display that everybody is talking about at the show. Make your competitors jealous and your customers proud.

There are many types of lighting to choose from when attending trade shows. Each has the benefits and weakness.
Incandescent lights are a low wattage, low cost, screw in type of bulb that you use in your house. They do not put out as much heat as other type of lights and are perfect for shows that do not allow halogen lights. There are some venues in Vegas and other locations that you cannot use halogen lights. The low wattage results in a medium yellow beam of light but is the weakest out of the types to choose from.
Fluorescent lights are long tubes of mercury vapor that provide light. They come in a selection of shapes and sizes and are most commonly uses in backlit displays.
Halogen lamps are a type of incandescent light that comes in all different sizes. The sealed tube contains halogen gas that provides a bright white light with relative low heat.
When choosing the correct type of light consider the exhibit hall you are exhibiting in, what type of lights are permitted at the exhibit hall, the color of the light, and the design/look of the light fixture.

Color plays a vital element to your trade show exhibit. Choosing the right colors could make or break your trade show display. We associate companies with their color. For example, the green in John Deer is unmistakable whereas some companies will even use it as part of their name; Jet Blue. If you have strong vibrant corporate colors then use them to your advantage and include them in your display. Go to an art store and buy a color wheel, find your corporate colors and then see what colors will match and create the environment you desire. Trade Show Emporium’s expert customer service department can help you choose the correct type of colors for your trade show exhibit.
